Tim grew up in Northern Virginia and became a Christian as a young child at Capital Baptist Church. After graduating high school, Tim worked for the family business until God called him into the ministry. In his senior year of Bible college, he met and married Paula. Paula trusted Christ when she was 16 and faithfully served in her local church. They started Choice in 1992 with the desire to see a church that was focused on grace and truth. God has blessed the ministry through the servant-leadership that he provides. Tim has been active in working with other pastors statewide and looks forward to laboring together for the sake of the gospel!

Tim and Paula have been blessed with 4 adult children and 3 wonderful grandchildren. His favorite pastimes are watching birds and gardening in the backyard. Through the blessings and trials of life Tim has sought to keep his eyes on Jesus. His goal is to, “Finish Well” and his life verse is Ephesians 1:6, “To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.”
