"Be Aware of Your Surroundings"
In our journey of faith, we're called to be both disciples and Christians - terms that are deeply intertwined. The book of Acts reveals how the early church at Antioch embodied this dual identity. As disciples, we're learners and followers of Jesus, constantly growing in our faith. As Christians, we're called to reflect Christ's character so vividly that others recognize Him in us. This transformation isn't instantaneous; it's a process of becoming more like Jesus through intentional living. The early church demonstrated this by building relationships across cultural boundaries, living with purpose, and assembling together regularly. As we reflect on our own walk, let's ask ourselves: Are we actively building relationships that allow us to share our faith? Are we living with clear purpose, continuing in the Lord while balancing 'doing' with 'being'? Are we faithfully gathering with other believers? These practices not only deepen our own faith but also make us effective witnesses, showing and telling the world about the transformative power of Christ's love.
