Acts 18 & 19

Aug 10, 2025    Pastor Tim Wilcox

In our journey of faith, we often face opposition and discouragement. Today's message from Acts 18 reminds us that even the apostle Paul experienced fear and trembling in his ministry. But through developing friendships, hearing from God, and staying connected to the church, we can persevere. The story of Paul in Corinth teaches us that God provides companions like Aquila and Priscilla to encourage us, and speaks to us in our moments of doubt. Just as Paul was compelled by the Spirit to testify about Jesus, we too can find strength in our relationships and in God's presence. This passage challenges us to keep learning and growing, as exemplified by Apollos who humbly received further instruction. Let's reflect on how we can cultivate meaningful friendships, remain open to God's voice, and continue learning in our faith journey, even when faced with challenges.
