Acts 2:41-47

Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, (NKJV) Matthew 22:35

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” (NKJV) Matthew 22:36

Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ (NKJV) Matthew 22:37

This is the first and great commandment. (NKJV) Matthew 22:38

And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ (NKJV) Matthew 22:39

On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (NKJV) Matthew 22:40

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. (NKJV) Acts 2:42

But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— (NKJV) Ephesians 4:15

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (NKJV) John 1:14

And of some have compassion, making a difference: (KJV) Jude 1:22

Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. (NKJV) Acts 2:41

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. (NKJV) Acts 2:42

Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. (NKJV) Acts 2:43

Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, (NKJV) Acts 2:44

and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. (NKJV) Acts 2:45

So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, (NKJV) Acts 2:46

Praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. (NKJV) Acts 2:47

Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, (NKJV) Acts 2:44

and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. (NKJV) Acts 2:45

Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. (NKJV) Acts 4:32

And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. (NKJV) Acts 4:33

Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, (NKJV) Acts 4:34

and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need. (NKJV) Acts 4:35

And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus, (NKJV) Acts 4:36

having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet. (NKJV) Acts 4:37

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? (NKJV) 1 John 4:20

And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. (NKJV) 1 John 4:21

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. (NKJV) John 13:34

By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (NKJV) John 13:35

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. (NKJV) Matthew 28:18

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (NKJV) Matthew 28:19

teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (NKJV) Matthew 28:20
